Yamato Bonsai Kai, Inc.

Bonsai is a unique art which links together different ideals and beliefs, philosophy, religion, humans and nature—all of which are intertwined into this unique method of meditation and self-expression. Yamato is committed to education, instruction, and training in the art of Bonsai for interested individuals. Specifically, the club will conduct lectures that explain the fundamentals of the art of Bonsai.  During the lectures, we will encourage the exchange of ideas and information about Bonsai in order to improve participants’ understanding of this art.  Additionally, our educational program will include training sessions, where participants will be able to improve their practical skills in the art under the supervision of a Sensei.  By promoting Bonsai education and training we will promote the overall development of participants’ skill.  They will learn how they can use this art to reduce their stress and relax. Participants will also learn how Bonsai can help them discover their hidden talents and how to use those talents to benefit themselves and others.

Yamato will put on an Annual Bonsai Exhibition designed to provide all individuals who are interested in Bonsai to gather together and exchange ideas.  Members will be able to exhibit their art and skills and to share their knowledge with the general public.
